Hello Everyone,
Your child’s next spelling check will be on Tuesday.
Here are a couple of reminders:
· Monday is our Chinese New Year Parade at 8:15. If possible, your child might like to wear the color red as it is a lucky color in the Chinese culture. If he/she doesn’t have any red clothing, he/she could make a red paper crown or wear a red bandana.
· Monday is the day to wear red, pink, or white for spirit week.
· Your child should bring in his/her valentines on Monday.
· We’ll also try to ski on Monday.
· Friday afternoon is the winter carnival. With the warm weather predicted, it would be a great idea to send your child with an extra pair of mittens so he/she won’t have to wear wet ones after recess for the winter carnival later in the day.
